East Wind

This is part of a series where the artist combined a selection of Shirakawa, Japan travel photographs taken by his wife with his paintings.
While winter was coming to an end, the biting cold was still felt. The artist
interpreted the wind’s movements through
shorter curved lines and its ferocity through the various eyes embedded in the flow.
