Little S, Greedy, Bouncy
Working alone gets a little lonely at times but it allows me to have the time to slow down and notice the otherwise unnoticed – and this would be these three little spiders, Little S, Greedy and Bouncy.
While working on this piece of my Life series, I was stuck and these little critters gave me the inspiration I needed. They reminded me that life is not only about being human, but also living in harmony with all creatures on this planet.
As I coexisted with these spiders during this period, I learnt to pay attention to my surroundings so as to not accidentally hurt them.
I first noticed Bouncy while I was preparing a sketch on my work desk. I named it Bouncy because it was always moving and jumping around my desk. Then there was Little S who hangs out by my window. We share this same view whenever I needed a break. And lastly, there is Greedy, who is always busy waiting for its prey. Incorporating all three in a fetal form tells this story of life in coexistence.
